Tavolini is a studio dedicated to sculptural glass forms.
Each piece is blown by hand on the island of Murano, where glassmakers shape molten glass into rounded, luminous volumes.
Minimal in line yet expressive in character, Tavolini pieces function as quiet sculptures that cast shifting shadows, transform the atmosphere of a room, and hold presence in both intimate and architectural spaces.
In The Studio
Tavolini pieces are hand-blown in Murano using techniques preserved by generations of master glassmakers. Molten glass is gathered from the furnace, shaped through controlled breath and movement, and expanded within bespoke wooden moulds that give each work its essential volume.
Each piece emerges with its own chromatic shifts, internal markings, and variations in transparency; characteristics inherent to authentic Murano glass and impossible to replicate through mass production. These distinctions are not decorative; they are the structural evidence of the maker’s hand and the material’s behaviour at high temperature.
Produced in small, finite batches, Tavolini objects retain the rarity and individuality of studio-made work. They function as sculptural glass forms - quiet, substantial presences that carry the weight of a craft refined over centuries.
